The GP Unique
As far as hot hatchbacks go it's hard to find one more aggressive than the GP Unique. It features big intakes, arch extension and a double rear wings. These are features usually reserved for French unicorns.
power mobility 's not just a look sexy. It also feels fast. The engine is smooth and powerful and its 332lb-ft torque is available with no hassle below 1,750rpm. It's also well matched to the quick-shifting six-speed automatic transmission. Mini is extremely focused on lap times, and it's unfortunate that the GP Unique does not have manual transmission.
However, it's not without faults. The GP Unique's suspension is sturdy but it's not a lot of fun. When you're driving straight and smooth B road you can easily test the chassis's dynamic limits, however, it's a challenge to stay fluid with your inputs. The front end gets slightly snatchy and the car is unable to hold its line when under the stress of irregular British bumps.
Fortunately the GP Unique's handling is fantastic once you dial it in. Its front end and body control remind us of the JCW racecar we drove last season. On a slippery surface, and when you're in a determined mood, it's a true joy to drive.
The car's chassis feels different from the regular MT-09, thanks to the fact it has much more torsional rigidity and bigger axles. The new GP's 24.7 degrees of rake, and 108mm trail feel more on the nose as compared to the R6. However, it also translates to incredible stability in turns.
The PO Generator module is a great feature of GP. This lets you examine your on hand quantities and min/max levels you've set up for each item as well as any open POs from your vendors (ie more inventory is coming in) and then generate an inventory of purchase orders suggested that you can send off to your suppliers.
The GP 500

In terms of color accuracy, it was very close to being perfect with a DeltaE error of just 2.3 which is extremely impressive. It also showed excellent grayscale performance with clean, very distinct shades. The GP500 showed subtle rainbow colors when watching the Adam Project. They were easy to spot but did not interfere with the viewing experience.
The sound quality is also remarkable. The GP500 has an independent DSP chip that is integrated with treVolo Psychoacoustic Tuning which creates 3D audio effects. It uses an internal quad speaker layout located in the corners of the cabinet. They are designed to create an immersive sound field for all users regardless of their seating location in the room.
There are several connectivity options, including HDMI inputs 1, 2 and 3 and an optical Toslink SPDIF for sending Dolby-Atmos native bitstreams to a sound bar external. The GP500 comes with two Type-A USB 2.0 ports for streaming content. It also supports the 12-volt screen trigger.

The GP 900
Sceptics might argue that the GP is just a naked XSR900 in a Wayne Rainey frock, but the truth is that Yamaha's designers have worked hard to create a touching and effective tribute to its legendary sporty heritage. The GP's updated Deltabox frame and swingarm are 55mm longer, but it feels much more compact and planted in corners due to a modified the geometry of the chassis. The GP's cowl that is symmetrically shaped is a clever trick. Two air vents are positioned inside the cowl to reduce the pressure inside and disperse the heat generated by the motor. This gives it a more sleek appearance and lowers the bike's centre of gravity. The GP's colour TFT dashboard, which shows messages and calls and offers the option of Garmin StreetCross Navigation and turn-by–turn directions (free for the first year) is an improvement that is welcome.
The GP comes with three pre-set riding modes, and a custom setting that can be adjusted by the rider. A new set of smartphone-connected technology is also available, with the GP getting a Y-Connect app to integrate smartphones and media controls as in addition to cruise control and the introduction of a new USB Type C socket for charging devices.
The GP 900 is a great machine with a sports heritage, but it also makes perfect commuters or a Sunday blaster. The 117bhp CP3 motor is perfectly usable, with a broad spread of power available at low revs. Even at road speed the GP is a blast of midrange hoo-hah that's enough to reset your calculations for speed, time, and distance and utterly eviscerate Google Maps' estimated time of arrival. The GP's chassis is equipped with the right amount of stiffness - it's not as rigid as an R6 or as light and agile as the TT500. It's a lot of fun to ride and is an absolute blast.
